The Indian Institute of Management Guwahati has been established by the Government of India under the Ministry of Education (formerly the Ministry of Human Resource Development) in 2026 in Guwahati, Assam. Mentored by the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, it is the 22nd Indian Institute of Management to be established in India.
